Korea offers a Tax Refund service for international tourists.
Trip.PASS Tax Refund partner stores offer three options: Mobile Immediate Refund, SMART Downtown (Medical Beauty) Tax Refund, and Standard Tax Refund at the airport.
Mobile Immediate Tax Refund

No need to bring a physical passport!
When shopping, you can make a purchase immediately at a tax discount of up to 7% through mobile passport authentication.
Cosmetic Surgery SMART City Tax Refund

When using Trip.PASS-affiliated hospitals, cosmetic surgeries and procedures under 6 million won are eligible for an immediate 7% discount on the payment amount.
Tax Refund Application (Airport)

If you have a tax refund receipt, add it in advance through the app.
By doing so, you can skip the lines at the tax refund kiosk and conveniently complete your refund application on your phone upon arrival at the airport.
