Tax Refund Eligibility

Foreigners staying in Korea for less than 6 months.
•
Overseas Koreans staying in Korea for less than 3 months
and having lived abroad for more than 2 years.
How to Use the Immediate Tax Refund

Confirm whether the store is a Trip.PASS partner store.
2.
Purchase items worth between 15,000 KRW and 1,000,000 KRW.
3.
Show the following Korean text to the store staff, indicating you want to use the Trip.PASS immediate tax refund:

Immediate tax refunds are available at over 700 convenience stores nationwide (CU, GS25) and more than 1,000 Trip.PASS partner stores.
Key points you must check!

Immediate Tax Refund Limit: Up to 1,000,000 KRW per transaction / Up to 5,000,000 KRW per person.
•
Those who have exceeded their stay period, diplomats in Korea, US military personnel stationed in Korea, employees, agents, and corporations are not eligible for tax refunds.
•
Items such as alcohol, tobacco, milk, fruits, vegetables, and sanitary pads are not eligible for immediate tax refunds.
